ABOUT US

Fohuso Community Travel* was born from a deep belief: that tourism can be a powerful tool to help people and protect nature.

It started simply. While working in tourism, we wanted to give back — so we began volunteering in schools, teaching children about the environment, and helping kids facing malnutrition. We supported people with disabilities and invited volunteers from around the world to help us grow this mission.

Our love for community and conservation led us to register a nonprofit called the *Foundation for Humane and Social Link* — and from that name, *Fohuso* was born.

As the project grew, we saw how powerful travel could be. Visitors weren’t just coming for photos — they were connecting, learning, and giving back. That’s when we created *Fohuso Community Travel* — a fully licensed tour company rooted in heart, culture, and impact.

What We Stand For:

Community First Tourism

Cultural exchange and connection

Environmental conservation

Empowering locals through ethical travel

Today, every Fohuso experience helps fund local projects, support artisans, educate youth, and protect the natural beauty of Tanzania.

> **Come as a guest. Leave as a friend.
> Travel with purpose. Travel with Fohuso.**I think it will be more about how you say that on the website – how the information is formatted with graphics and links/hyperlinks.
It is quite different to your current information which, I think, projects more high end tourism. I think this information projects more to eco, sustainable, community travel which I think, from our brief time together, is more you and your heart but will likely be a different market of traveller, though possibly some cross over.
What will be important is how you or your website designer integrates what your trying to get across to people into your website.
Personally, as a traveller rather than a short holiday vacationer, I prefer the information your putting in than the current presentation. I think the images of that will helpI would use real life images to highlight the points rather than iconsYes, and to reflect your information. I feel you current website has a lot of luxury images but you revised information should be supported by pictures/ images of that. But still be appealing to as broad a market as possible
